Some More "First" Pics (Jonah)

These are just a few pics of Jonah Bug when he was itty bitty. Noah was pretty itty bitty himself! This is what Jonah's mouth looked like most of the time when he was a baby. It was usually WIDE open and he usually had a HUGE grin across his face!
Here is Noah and Jonah having a little conversation!
My two little men
I always loved this picture of the two of them napping together. Jonah was about a month and a half old.
Look at that sweet baby face!
And this one....

Sorry these pics are in no particular order. I am just proud of myself for getting this much done!

Noah's Build-A-Bear

About a month before Jonah was born in 2006, Winter took Noah to Build-A-Bear to make him and Jonah a bear. Noah decided to build himself a cow dressed in Buzz Lightyear clothes. LOL! I call him Buzzcow! And he built Jonah a bear and dressed him in overalls.

Here they are stuffing both of them.
Now they are dressing "Buzzcow"
Here is Noah showing Jonah's bear.
He had the best time. It was so thoughtful of Winter to think of doing that for him.Thank you Winter!

The First Few Days Of Jonah's Life

Since I started this blog after the birth of both of my babies I thought I would catch up on getting a few pictures on here. Bear with me. I was just getting a digital camera when Jonah was born and have got a few from Mema's camera, too, but I will probably have to scan most of Noah's on here :( Well, at least I have some, right? So the next few days(or weeks knowing me) will mostly be dedicated on getting most of the last 7 years on here! So here we go!

Climbing A Tree

Lately, everytime the boys go to Mema and Papa's house they want to climb the tree in the front yard. One Saturday, Bryan and I had to go to a party for Bryan's work and the boys stayed with Mema and Papa. So, one of the first things they did was climb the tree. Papa is right there under them in case he needs to catch one of them.
Both of them cheesing for a picture!
Jonah will do anything Noah will do.
Funny face Jonah!
And, yes, Noah has on swimming goggles! He said limbs kept getting in his eyes!
Cheese!
Mema with rabbit ears.
Monkey see monkey do!
On a side-note...we had Santa Fe Soup for supper tonight and guess who ate it? Noah! Yes, that's right. Our picky eater is branching out and trying new things! Ahhh! Thank goodness!

Jonah's Funny Sayings!

We went over to Papa and Mema's this morning after we took Noah to school. Jonah and Papa were playing with Legos and talking. They were talking about everything under the moon. For some reason they got to talking about names. And I started asking him what his and Noah's name was. The conversation was a little like this:
                              Me: What is Noah's name?
                              Jonah: I don't know
Me: Yes you do! Noah what?
Jonah: Well, Noah says it's Noah
                                          Bryant
                              Me: Noah Bryant what?
                              Jonah: .com
Yes he thinks Noah's name is Noah Bryant .com
This child is hilarious! He can come up with the funniest things! And to top it off, he thinks his real name is Jonah Bug Amason! (because we call him bug. it is really Bret)

And, just so you could see this silly little man I have put you a picture in this post!

New Topiaries and Wall Cling

For my birthday my mother-in-law gave me two topiaries. I decided to put them in the foyer by the front door. How cute are they? Thanks Janice!
So, since I had new decor in the foyer I decided I would do something that I have been wanting to do (plus it was half-off at Hobby Lobby!). I bought a vinyl wall cling and put it above the door. Like?
Final product!
I had to ask Bryan if he noticed anything. He looked around forever and I finally told him to turn on the foyer light and look. He walked a little closer over to it and looked almost as if he thought I had painted it on the wall. I had his approval!

Jonah and Turtle

You all know how much Jonah LOVES Turtle, right? Well, one day I walked thru the room and he had Turtle and the thing I sit my laptop on in my lap (yeah...I don't know what it's called). Anywho, he was inspecting Turtle real close with the light. He would turn him over and over. He would raise Turtle's legs and look under them. It was so funny to watch because he almost looked like a doctor checking a patient. This is him checking out Turtle:
I asked him if Turtle was sick or hurt. He said no he was just looking at him.
I guess since Turtle checked out ok we won't be having to taking him to the Turtle Hospital! Whew!

Sparklers

Mema got the boys some sparklers and we had to test them on the coldest night of the year!

Jonah having fun with his! (he looks a little scared in this pic)
Noah having fun with his!
We may have to save the rest of them for a warmer night!

Noah's "Spot"

Ok. So I don't know if you can see it or not, but there is a spot between Noah's eyes. See it?
Now I guess you're wondering what this might be? Well, he took a couple of erasers to school the other day because he said his were almost used up. When he got in the car I see this spot on his face (there is also one under his chin, you just can't see it in this pic). I asked him what it was and he said he didn't know. When we got home he went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror and said, "I guess it's where I was making the eraser stick to my head and chin!" So in other words he was making it suction to his head, and he had done it for so long that it ended up making a hickey on it! SO FUNNY! Most of you may know the story of the time my sister did this with a medicine cup when she was little. She was watching TV and was sucking the cup to her lips and when she finished watching her show, she went into the bathroom and saw the results!!! Her lips were HUGE and PURPLE. They were so bad she couldn't go to school the next day! She is gonna kill me for posting this, but my kids are so much like her...in CRAZY ways!! (i love you cassie)

Babysitting

We got to spend a little time with the sweetest little girl today! Avery Claire! I didn't know how Jonah would react to her at first, but boy, he loved her! If he wasn't following her around, she was following him! She has the best personality! She got out of the car waving at us. Truth be know, it was the dog she liked first, but I like to say it was me :) ! I was truly amazed at how she just adjusted so well to us! She was perfect!

She is looking out the door at the cat in this picture!
Sweet face!
I love this picture of her with her mouth wide open! She was looking at something Jonah was doing.
Look at that sweet face!
She was trying to eat Jonah's cell phone.
She decided my cabinet needed cleaning out. Look at her handing me my colander.
She did some serious cleaning out!
Jonah decided he'd get in on the action!
If you can see her, Avery Claire is under Jonah!
Man...I have alot of bowls! I bet she really thought it needed cleaning!
Jonah found a funnel to play with!
I guess with all the pictures I was taking, Jonah decided to take some himself!
She decided to check out all the magazines.
When I moved the magazine basket, she and Jonah decided they needed to crawl through the coffee table.
Couldn't you just squeeze those cheeks!
Look at 'em!
My mother came for a little bit to see Avery Claire, but after she'd been here a while the boys decided they wanted to go outside. So, Mema went out with them. Avery Claire watched out the window. I put Jonah's boggin on her and covered her up with a blanket and we sat on the porch for a few minutes, but the wind was blowing and it was a little cool for her I thought. We came back in because I didn't want to be responsible for getting this sweet girl sick!
I took a picture of her from outside. Look how funny!
I had a blast with her today! Such a difference in boys and girls! Jonah was such a wonderful helper today. I think he really liked her. And you're probably wondering why Noah isn't in any of these pictures. Well, he laughed at her a good bit, but he is too "big" to play with babies! Haha! Thank you Brooke for sharing her with me today. I'm glad you trust me that much with such an important "package". I hope I can do it for you again soon!
