Christmas Morning 2010

Christmas morning! Ahhhh! Santa came! The toys! The laughter! The excitement! It doesn't get any better! We are so blessed to be able to have a Christmas! I know there are so many people in the world who do without and I thank God every day for all our blessings! I am so thankful for the season itsself and what it truly means! I know everything seems to revolve around Santa and toys, and as you'll see in the pictures, our house is no different! But, I stopped and thanked God for everything we were truly blessed with that day! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! I leave you with pictures of the many toy blessings we had!
Look at all that Santa left! It looks like Toys 'R Us exploded in our living room!

Noah's toys

Jonah's toys

Look at those faces! They are ready to check it all out!

Noah must see something that excites him!

For the longest, Jonah would just point at all his stuff! It was hilarious!

Noah still checking it all out!

Jonah is still pointing!

Noah's new BB gun

Jonah is showing me his Toy Story game. Noah is looking at his new Mario hat.

Cool hat, huh? He looks soooo big in this picture.

Noah's aircraft carrier

Jonah finally decided to try out his new Rip Rider.

Jonah and Noah's new robes! SO CUTE!

Jonah got a Smart Cycle and it is the coolest thing. He played it over and over! Noah even played on it!

Aunt Cassie looking at her stocking from Santa.

Noah playing with a log truck.

Uncle Ross looking at his stocking from Santa.

And of course, what's Christmas morning without monkey bread??? I have been doing this for a few years now...we love it! Coffee, monkey bread, presents...so fun!

It started snowing a little and the boys wanted to try out their new Rip Riders. They looked so fun. I wanted to try it, but a broken arm or leg and a trip to the ER would not be good on Christmas day! I'll try later thank you!

Having fun on the Rip Riders!

Check out the below post.

Christmas Eve (presents from Uncle Ross and Aunt Cassie)

We decided to open Christmas presents on Christmas Eve from Uncle Ross and Aunt Cassie, just so everything wouldn't be so hectic on Christmas day. Cassie and I decided not to swap gifts with each other this year and only get the kids and Mema and Papa. Hmmm...I guess I got out cheaper than her since she doesn't have kids! (hint hint Cassie...I will spoil your kids if you'll just have some) Anyway, we never really do anything in particular on Christmas Eve, just relax and wait for Santa.
Noah opening his Crayola projector

What a cool thing! Both of the boys LOVE it!

Jonah opening his Follow Me Thomas

This was pretty cool, too! You hold a flashlight in front of Thomas and he follows it around.

Noah opened Ghostbusters 1 and 2. Let's hope this doesn't scare him back into my bed at night!

Jonah's Thomas rolling backpack!

Noah and Jonah both got a basketball game to share.

Papa and Mema opening their gifts.

The boys are helping them open them. Mema got a furry robe she has been wanting.

Papa got what he has been wanting....a power saw! From Mema

Thank you Uncle Ross and Aunt Cassie for all the great gifts!

Papa's Bacon

So you know how there are things from your childhood that you still remember and know that you'll always remember? Well, one of those thing for me is my Daddy Paul's bacon.
I know...weird! But, when he and mother cooked us breakfast, he always cooked the bacon. And to this day he still cooks bacon. And, he still gives me a ton of it when I go to their house. I know it is now mainly for my boys because they LOOOVE it so much. He will cook it and send a bagful of it home with them. They will eat it for breakfast, supper, heck, they even eat it for snacks! Thank you Papa for the bacon you cook for us!

Kid's Christmas Party

The kids from church came over on Monday the 20th for a Christmas pajama party. We had 12 kids and 11 adults! Which meant alot of people in my house. We had a good time though. We played games, ate, opened presents, and decorated cookies. I am pretty sure the kids had a great time!
