Hallelujah Hop

On Friday, Noah had his chapel. The title was "Hallelujah Hop." It was one of the cutest programs that I have seen them do yet! It was music from the 50's, 60's, and 70's. The songs just had christian words put to the music. They performed it that morning and then performed it again that night! Noah wore a leather jacket that morning but you could tell it aggravated him so we just went with a vest that night.
This is part of the group
This performance was "Put a Little Love in Your Heart." These girls were gettin' down let me tell you!
This performance was "To Know Him is to Love Him."
This was "Some Kind of Wonderful." They were "Thunderbirds."
(I have failed to tell you that Noah fell down at school after being spun around and around on the tire swing and bashed his face the day before chapel! Looks real cool doesn't it?)
This was "Help!" by The Beatles.
This is "I Will Follow Him" and was one of the cuter ones done! These girls are hilarious! They really get into it!
If you haven't guessed already by the picture, this performance was "Soul Man!" SO FUNNY!!!
This , of course, is just a cool Thunderbird!!! (how cool does his face look with that scratch!)
This was "Stand By Me." Noah was the lead singer and these girls were his back-up singers.
This performance was "Reach Out (I'll Be There)."
My cute Thunderbird!
Austin and Noah
Noah and Miss Lori
(please excuse the spot on Noah's eye, I messed it up when I edited it)
Austin doing "Reach Out (I'll Be There)" Don't know why I downloaded this twice, but, oh well!
Doing a little dancing! Check out Macy Bell in the navy blue poodle skirt doing the twist!
Ashton rocking it out to "I'm a Believer!"
(yes that's his real hair! u all thought my kids hair was long!)
Look at that cool boy! (this was the night performance)
Now, if any of you haven't heard yet, Bailey Brimer(in the tie-dye) ROCKED IT OUT!!! Oh my gosh! Her performance was HILARIOUS! If I can figure out how to upload a video I will share it with you. (hint hint Brooke!) She, Emma, and Jolee performed "Put a Little Love in Your Heart."
Noah and Brody performing again. (night performance)
Noah and Brody performing again.
Isaac and Alyssa during "Lean on Me."
(they were doing the part of the song that says, "call me, when u need a friend)
This is "I Will Follow Him" again (night performance) only in this picture you can really see just how much they get into this dancing. Macy Bell is gettin' down!
This is part of the song "Shout." During the part where it says "a little bit softer now" all the kids got lower and lower to the ground, then basically all of them ended up on the floor! Hilarious!!! Noah seemed to enjoy this part more than any part of the program!!
At the end of the show the song "Turn, Turn, Turn" played and Miss Lori had a slide show set up of the kids practicing during the week. It was so sweet. The kids did a wonderful job and Miss Lori did a fantastic job teaching all these sweet kids their parts! Alot of work goes into this and it paid off! They were great!!

Watermelons

In 2008 when Paw Paw and Granny planted watermelons, we decided to carve Noah and Jonah's names a couple of them. We carved them when they were just starting to grow and when they got big enough, this is what they looked like.

                                             Noah's
Noah loved it!
Jonah's
Jonah liked his pretty good, too.
I thought this was a neat idea. Maybe we'll do it again someday!

Splish Splash

I'm still catching up. So, today I decided to add some bath pictures (mostly of Jonah, but I promise to soon scan some of Noah and add them).

Noah and Jonah with the towels a lady from church made them.
Jonah's first "tub" bath. And, yes, he was only a few weeks old, but he looks HUGE! But, really, he was a HUGE baby there for a while.
Jonah's a little older in these next pics, but I just had to share. They are soooo funny!
This face is HILARIOUS!!!
When we would get through bathing Jonah he would lay back and try to dip his head in the water. Too funny!
He always loved to lay on the towel in the floor and get lotion put on. I could just eat that face up!
Oh the memories!

Frogs & Snails & Puppy Dog Tales

No, you are not seeing things. My kids have on shorts. This was last spring and they caught a frog at Papa and Mema's house. Since I am doing a little catching up on my blog I decided to post this because this is what little boys do! They catch critters!!! Here they are with their little prize possession.
They decided to set him free (thank goodness, because this could have easily ended up in my house!!)

Papa decided to get in on the action!
