30-Day Blog Challenge Day 2

Yes, I realize I have done Day 1 and Day 2 in the same day, but I'm a little behind getting on the 30-Day Blog Challenge wagon! My favorite movie of ALL TIME is Dirty Dancing! I love it, love it, love it! I could watch it over and over. I also love Pretty Woman. Anytime either of these movies is on TV and Bryan sees it, I think he tries to skip over it real quick before I can see it! But, I usually see it. AND, I usually don't get to watch it since there are two sets of little eyes that probably shouldn't watch it!

30-Day Blog Challenge

So, my sister Cassie and her friend Leanne are doing a 30-day blog challenge. I have decided to join in and it really will be a challenge for me. But here goes. Today is your favorite song. So, for those of you who know me know that I like country music. However, I get to listen to alot of my kids CD's and appropriate things that they can listen to. All of you know how hard is is to find a song these days that doesn't have something inappropriate in it! So, I love to listen to the Alvin And The Chipmunk soundtrack.  My favorite is Get Munked because Noah and Jonah can sing every word to it and I love hearing them sing along with it. It is quiet funny because they try to sound like the Chipmunks! As for a song I love to listen to right now when I am by myself (which only happens about...hmmmm...once in a blue moon!) is Miranda Lambert's The House That Built Me. Great song!

Well those of you who want to do the challenge with us here is the schedule:

Turtle's Bath

Turtle is dirty! So, I talked Jonah into letting me washing him. I usually have to sneak him into the wash, but that day Jonah agreed to it. He had got mustard on him at supper the night before. He kept showing me where the mustard was. I asked him if we could wash him and he gladly agreed. He got to put Turtle into a laundry bag and put him in the washing machine. Every time Turtle would come up from under the water he would yell so loud. I thought at one point he was going to cry! When we got him out he inspected Turtle and said, "see, the mustard is gone and his head didn't come off!" Now why he would think Turtle's head would come off is beyond me, but, I'm sure glad it didn't. I am quite sure the next bath that Turtle gets, I will have to sneak him in there again because I don't think Jonah will go for it again!

This is Jonah watching Turtle . I think he was about to cry!
He made me get him out of the washing machine as soon as it stopped. Yes, Turtle was wet, but he was clean and smelled better....that is all that matters. He had to air dry. Jonah was definitely not gonna let me put him inside of another machine! So, therefore, he slept with wet Turtle for nap that day!

Jonah is showing off how clean Turtle is!

I catch him alot kissing Turtle. It is hilarious. He obviously posed for this picture, but one day last week he was pushing a truck with one hand and holding Turtle with the other. He kissed Turtle the whole time he was pushing the truck!

Look how much he loves Turtle!

Noah's Soccer Game

Noah's soccer season started on September 27, 2010. We have most of our games on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We haven't won a game yet, but I think our little team does well. The kids on most of the teams we have played are REALLY BIG! It is really a hoot watching these kids. They get knocked down and kicked all the time and just jump right up and keep running as if nothing happened! Noah says he likes it alot. We have to make sure everything is done before we leave to go to games, like homework and clothes laid out for the next day because we usually get home after 9:00. All in all it has been ok. I am glad he likes it as well as he does.

This was a quick picture before one of the games.
Noah was one of the captains for this game.

Noah is #4

Just a picture of some of the happenings during the game.

Sorry for the lack of pictures. My camera and the lights on the field don't get along to well!

Noah and Jonah's Spend The Night Company

Noah and Jonah wanted Jacob and Jaden to spend the night one night. So, Jan and I got that arranged and Friday after school I picked Noah and Jacob up from school and he came to our house. We then got on the four-wheeler and rhino and went to Jason and Jan's house and picked up Jaden. Jonah was ecstatic! We picked Jaden up and came back to our house.
We played basketball, soccer, the Wii, rode gators and four-wheelers, and rode bicycles and scooters. Bryan picked up pizza for super and we came in to eat. After that, we were back outside for more play. When it was finally dark we came in and Jonah and Jaden took baths and then Noah and Jacob took showers. It was now time for a snack, so I made them cookies and cream milkshakes. We attempted to watch a movie, but that didn't happen. Too much excitement. We played a little more then I attempted to get all of these wild boys to bed. We went from aerobed to tent to couches to floors and Jaden had had enough! He never said a word. Just looked at me with his little eyes and I could see it! His Mama was on his mind. I asked him if he was ok and he just shook his head and said yes. Then he starts playing with a tractor that was left in the floor. I told him we needed to go to bed and then he said it..."I want my Mama." So, Bryan called Jan and I took him home. I think he was glad to see her! I got back home and I slept with Jonah in his bed and Noah and Jacob got in Noah's bed. Notice I didn't say they went to sleep. They giggled and talked 'til about 11:30. Then they gave it up. I didn't hear little voices again until 4:30 AM . I went to see what they were up to and they had just woke up and needed some water to drink. They went back to sleep and slept until about 6:30. Jaden came back over to play and they stayed until about lunch. I think they all had a good time, but those were some tired little boys! Jacob and Jaden come back and spend the night soon!

This is them jumping on the aerobed.
This is their sweet faces when I got them all stopped long enough to smile for the camera!

Jonah and Jaden was, at one point, going to sleep on the aerobed.

Jacob and Noah was, at one point, going to sleep in the tent.

Jacob and Noah got in a little Wii time!

Jaden and Jonah playing with the skate-board ramps.

Noah and Jacob were tired. They needed a break, so they got a snack and watched a little TV.

I'm not really sure how these two little ones come up with this, but this is what I caught them doing! Skate-board skiing!

Here is Jaden pulling Jonah!

Noah and Jacob rode the scooters.

They rode 'til they were pooped!

Jonah and Jaden rode the gator.

Look at those sweet faces! Don't they look like they're having a good time?

Who's Sick?

Noah and Jonah got out their doctors kit and played a little bit one day. It was hilarious watching them and listening to them talk to each other like doctors and patients! Jonah can't say temperature right. He would say "tenture."

Wow Noah! A shot in the ear? That must hurt!

"Alright Jonah, lets check your temperature."
                        "Ouch. That hurts really bad!"
Alright Noah, open up. Let's check your temperature!
Have ya'll found out who's sick yet? By the way, I don't
think that is where the blood pressure cuff goes!

Comparisons

Bryan's Daddy and Mama are getting ready to cut a tree down in their back yard that has been there around 35 years! We are estimating that time. We don't know how old Bryan and Jason are in this picture, but aren't they soooo cute! And, don't you just love their shoes? Ha ha! We wanted to do some comparison pictures, so we took some pictures of them beside the tree today and also got pictures of them with their sons now. This just goes to show how fast time goes by!

This is Bryan and Jason about 35 years ago!

This is Bryan and Jason now. Wow! They are lots bigger, huh?
A picture of Bryan and Jason further away so you can see just how big that tree is now.
