This Is For You Chrissy

Chrissy informed me that I needed to update the blog, so here you go Chrissy! We have been busy, busy, busy since the last post. So, I'm doing lots of "emptying the iphone" like some of the other blogs I've read! The last weekend in September Cassie, Winter, Heather, Harmony, and I took a girls trip to the beach. The water was so calm, but there were TONS of jellyfish.

The next weekend Bryan, the boys, and I went again since Noah was out of school. And, it just so happened to be Thunder On The Gulf. The boys loved it!

We watched them race from the balcony.

We came home on Monday and Noah had to do a little project for school. Show reuse or recycle of a milk carton. So, he decided on a bird house.

We got the rock work around the pool finished, finally! This is a pic of it at night.

We went to Cheaha one day.

We even went to a pumpkin patch that same day, but I for got to upload those pics so I'll do a separate post on that.

Well hello there Skiddles. I can't do anything outside without the dog or cat up under me.

I made Avery Claire's snowman pillow case dress and am now working on getting Addyson's done.

I made witch hat cookies for the church fall festival.

We've been down to the creek. Dalton spent the night with Noah and he went with us on this day.

Sick Boy

My little man has been sick :( We went to the dr on Friday, the 16th. He told us he had strep throat. What??? We just had that 4 weeks ago!!! Anyway, more antibiotics (stronger antibiotics) and three days later on Monday, the 19th we were back at the dr....with pneumonia!!! So, off to the hospital we had to go!

              This is Jonah right after we arrived...he already had a pile of goodies:

Uncle Ross and Aunt Cassie sent him this singing dog and balloons.

He had to get IV's, blood drawn, chest x-rays....ugh! This poor little guy was put through the ringer!!

By that night he had received many more balloons, gifts and visits!!! Mema, Papa, Noah, Gwen, and Berford sent him some fruit(one of his favs) and balloons. Meredith came and graced me with my fav....York Peppermint Patties, Addyson and Winter brought him a Cars toy, Sheila and Chrissy brought him balloons, Granny and Paw Paw brought him candy and balloons, the curch brought a stuffed animal, candy, and a balloon...whew!!! That's alot!!!

Thank God for the TV or else we would have gone completely in sane in that little room. And two nights was more than enough for me!!! I was beginning to think I was gonna get "chair sores" on my hip. (that's the same thing as bed sores...I just didn't have a bed to sleep in and I slept in a chair!!!)

He was finally released on Wednesday night and we got to come home. Before we got to Lineville this is what he looked like:

When we got home that night Daniel and Morgan came to visit and brought more goodies. Im so glad he's better!!! Thank you to all of you guys who visited us, brought us goodies and most of all prayed for us!!!

It's Been A While

Yes, I know, I haven't blogged in forever it seems. We have been busy, busy, busy! Maybe I can start doing a little more now! So, a while back I started doing some "catching up", and I had hoped to get it finished and well...I didn't. So, I am doing it now. All of it is in crazy order, but just go with the flow people! LOL! I just really want to get some of this documented for the boys! Remember, I didn't have alot of the pictures from when Noah was little because I didn't have a digital camera, but I am gonna scan them and get them done!!! I promise!!!

So, this first picture is of me and my sister, Cassie. This was at my shower for Jonah!

This next picture is of me and Cassie and my best friend, Tanya. She was pregnant with Duke in this picture. He was born April, 19 2007 and Jonah was born December 8,2006. We were both pregnant with out first two, also. Noah was born on March 4 and Peyton was born on March 23 both in 2003. It was so neat to be pregnant with both of our children at the same time! We grew up doing EVERYTHING together...so, why not have children at the same time, too, right?? And, by the way, Cassie made the diaper cake. So cute!

Comparing K-4 Pictures

I wanted to post Pictures of Noah and Jonah on their first day of K-4 just for the sake of comparing. Awwww....look how little Noah was!!!!!! As you can see, I made Jonah wear the same thing Noah wore on his first day just so I could have this picture! The shirt is swallowing Jonah!!! Of course, it's tucked in on Noah, but he definitely was a little chubbier than Jonah.

First Day Of School

The first day of 3rd grade for Noah was Monday, August 15, 2011. This picture explains it all.....

He was excited! He came home telling all about it! He made new friends and saw a few that he already knew from baseball. He is loving it so far. Let's just hope it lasts!

Now, Jonah started K-4 on Tuesday, August 16, 2011. And this picture explains it all...... 

He was all about it over the weekend. He was ready to go, and excited. Well, when I woke him up Tuesday morning, I told him it was his first day of school, and what do you know? The first thing out of his mouth was, "I'm not going!" Oh, it was a long morning at my house!

He wanted nothing to do with taking a picture either! But, I took it anyway! It is the most pitiful face ever!!!! And, do you see those skinny legs???? Bless his heart. His legs are just like mine...were. Cause mine ain't skinny anymore, but they used to be! LOL! Of all thing he could get from me.....why the legs????

But, just so you know, when I picked him up, he was a happy camper! The teacher said he was awesome (her words exactly)! He was so excited. He said he loved it and was gonna go back every day! And....treasure box day is on Friday's. Thank the Lord for treasure box!!!

So, I hate to post more pictures of Jonah than of Noah in this post, but I had to do 2nd day pictures! I just couldn't stand for the pictures to be all sad. So, this is how he looked this morning... 

He was up and ready in a flash this morning! He had his backpack on his back at 6:50am! I told him it wasn't quite time to leave yet and he said, "I know. I'm just wearing it so I can get used to it!"

He did very good when I walked him in. He was a little shy, but  way better than yesterday! Thank goodness for answered prayers! 

He also wanted me to take a picture of his backpack with Turtle in it! Yes, he takes Turtle to school, but I bought him a new one. We leave old Turtle at home so he has him at bedtime, and he takes School Turtle (that's what he named him) with him for nap. That way, if he accidentally leaves him at school we have Turtle at home! All, is happy!
